Job summary

Amcor LLC seeks an experienced maintenance electrician to troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, and solid-state equipment. You will work from blueprints and PLC listings to minimize downtime, order parts, and perform preventative maintenance on production and building systems in a 12-hour day shift.

The role requires a GED/HS diploma, a Journeyman license or 150-hour Master Electrician course, and relevant electromechanical training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman license or 150-hour Master Electrician course required.
• Electromechanical degree considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic and solid-state equipment using blueprints, schematics, and PLC listings.
• Maintain electrical supplies and repair parts to minimize downtime.
• Submit requisitions for parts to supervisor as needed.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and building electrical systems.
• Maintain plant emergency lighting and required logs/records.
