Job summary

Amcor LLC in Pennsylvania is seeking an Electrical Technician responsible for maintaining plant equipment at peak performance. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, repair systems, and return machinery to service quickly.

The role involves PLC programming, drive systems, AutoCAD drawings, and hands-on use of shop tools. You will support safety initiatives and participate in project work across the facility.

Qualifications

• AAS in Mechanical/Electrical preferred.
• 2–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of electrical systems (distribution, wiring, relays).
• Understanding of PLC ladder logic, I/O and machine control devices.
• NFPA 70E certification or AutoCAD/E-drawing knowledge is a plus.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in non-climate-controlled facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance on all equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all manufacturing equipment.
• Understand PLC logic and modify programs as required.
• Work with AC/DC drive systems and AutoCAD drawings.
• Assist in special projects including equipment installation and safety improvements.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure safe working environment.
• Be available for call-in maintenance.
