Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced electrician for commercial and residential projects located primarily in Clay and St. Johns counties. This role offers leadership opportunities and a chance to grow within the company.

Work will involve a broad scope—from new construction to retrofits—with a team-focused in-person environment and a standard Monday–Friday schedule, with overtime as needed. Benefits include insurance, retirement, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Journeyman license or 5 years' experience as an electrician.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of electrician apprenticeship; Electrician degree from technical college.
• Professional communication between General Contractors, Foremen & Project Managers.
• Working knowledge of Electrical Code.
• Reading blueprints or technical drawings for installations.
• Use of time clock app to log hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial and residential electrical service.
• Lead a team of Electricians, Helpers and Apprentices.
• Ensure work complies with current Electrical Code.
• Communicate with project managers and foremen.
• Drive to job sites in Clay and St. Johns counties.

Supplemental Pay includes discretionary performance bonuses.

This is a full time/in-person position. The hours are generally Monday-Friday and average 40 hours per week. Weekends and overtime are required from time to time.

Requirements:

• Journeyman license or 5 years' experience working as an electrician (not working solely has a helper)
• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of electrician apprenticeship. Electrician degree from technical college
• Professional communication between General Contractors, Foremen & Project Managers
• Working knowledge of Electrical Code
• Use of mobile app time clock system
• Ability to read and follow specifications on blueprints or technical drawings for installations
• Conduct all repairs and installations in accordance with the most current Electric Code
• Supervise a team, consisting of Electricians, Helpers and Apprentices, in a manner that promotes top performance and encourages teamwork.
• Driving record free of tickets, violations, wrecks within the last 2 years. MVR will be pulled.
