Crowder seeks an Electrical Journeyman to interpret drawings and work safely on heavy civil, water, energy, and infrastructure projects in the Southeast. You will install conduit, wiring, and control panels across sites, ensuring code compliance and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities include testing, troubleshooting, and coordinating with craft teams. Travel may be required to multi-state projects; candidates must be eligible to work in the US and pass drug screening.

Qualifications

• Reading electrical drawings and site plans is required.
• Commitment to safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Ability to interpret and follow detailed specifications.
• Capable of measuring, cutting, bending, and installing conduit.
• Proficient in wiring, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan new or modified installations to minimize waste and ensure code compliance.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install conduit with appropriate tools.
• Pull wiring through conduit with assist from a helper or craft.
• Connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment using hand tools.
• Install control and distribution devices such as switches and panels.
• Connect power cables to motors and equipment and install grounding leads.
• Test continuity and safety using testing instruments and scopes.
• Observe system operation to determine hazards and needed adjustments.
• Troubleshoot or repair faulty equipment or systems.
