PRT Staffing is seeking Journeyman Low Voltage Electricians for a long-term, mission-critical data center construction project in Santa Teresa, NM. This full-time role offers hands-on work leading low-voltage and telecommunications installations in a busy data center environment.

You will read and interpret construction drawings, coordinate daily activities with crews, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while supporting fiber optic and copper cabling installs.

Qualificações

• Active journeyman electrician license.
• Experience in electrical, low-voltage, telecommunications, or commercial construction environments.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and installation instructions.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and support low-voltage and telecommunications installations within a data center construction environment.
• Install fiber optic and copper cabling systems with the crew.
• Assist with cable pathways, racks, cabinets, patch panels, and related infrastructure.
• Read blueprints and installation specifications to guide work.
• Coordinate daily installation activities and support project schedules.
• Ensure installations meet project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Assist with troubleshooting installation issues.
• Collaborate with fiber optic specialists and other trades to complete the project.
• Maintain daily progress reports and installation documentation.

Journeyman Low Voltage Electrician - Data Center | $65/hr + $150 Daily Per Diem

Long-Term Data Center Project

We're hiring Journeyman Low Voltage Electricians for a long-term, mission-critical data center construction project in Santa Teresa, New Mexico.

PAY & PROJECT DETAILS

• $65 per hour
• $150 daily per diem for each day worked
• Long-term, full-time employment opportunity
• Large-scale, mission-critical data center project
• Multiple openings - hiring 50 licensed technicians

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead and support low-voltage and telecommunications infrastructure installations within a data center construction environment.
• Work with crews installing fiber optic and copper cabling systems.
• Assist with the installation of cable pathways, racks, cabinets, patch panels, and associated infrastructure.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and installation specifications.
• Coordinate daily installation activities and support project schedules.
• Ensure installations meet project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving installation issues.
• Work alongside fiber optic specialists and other trades to support project completion.
• Maintain daily progress reports and installation documentation as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Active qualifying journeyman electrician license.
• Experience working in electrical, low-voltage, telecommunications, or commercial construction environments.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and installation instructions.
• Ability to work effectively with construction crews and other trades.
• Strong understanding of jobsite safety and quality standards.
• Ability to work assigned shifts and overtime as required.
• Ability to pass required background screening, drug testing, and site onboarding.
