Job summary

PRT Staffing is seeking Journeyman Low Voltage Electricians for a long-term, mission-critical data center construction project in Santa Teresa, New Mexico. The role pays $65 per hour with a $150 daily per diem for each day worked, on a long-term, full-time basis.

Responsibilities include leading low-voltage and telecommunications installs, fiber/copper cabling, cable pathways, and reading drawings to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to project schedules.

Qualifications

• Active journeyman electrician license.
• Experience in electrical, low-voltage, telecommunications, or commercial construction environments.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and installation instructions.
• Ability to work effectively with construction crews and other trades.
• Strong understanding of jobsite safety and quality standards.
• Ability to pass required background screening, drug testing, and site onboarding.

• Assist with the installation of cable pathways, racks, cabinets, patch panels, and associated infrastructure.

• Coordinate daily installation activities and support project schedules.
• Ensure installations meet project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving installation issues.
• Work alongside fiber optic specialists and other trades to support project completion.
• Maintain daily progress reports and installation documentation as required.

We're hiring Journeyman Low Voltage Electricians for a long-term, mission-critical data center construction project in Santa Teresa, New Mexico.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead and support low-voltage and telecommunications infrastructure installations within a data center construction environment.
