Job summary

Gaylor Electric, Inc. is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to perform installations, alterations, additions and repairs across residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems. The role requires proficient troubleshooting, adherence to safety programs (OSHA), and the ability to read electrical drawings and bend conduit.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalency, preferred.
• Accredited Apprenticeship Program completion or six years on-the-job electrical experience.
• Journeyman License requirement where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Reports to assigned job site location on time, as directed
• Maintains and properly stores tools, materials, and equipment
• Organizes materials and tools to maintain clean and neat work area
• Plans, schedules, and organizes tasks to meet deadlines
• Accurately interprets electrical construction drawings, terminates cables, installs, and trouble shoots control wiring from schematics
• Completes routine daily inspections of equipment and work areas to verify accurate and timely installations
• Safely performs assigned tasks with limited supervision
