Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team on commercial, industrial, and large-scale construction projects.

You will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with NEC and local codes, reading blueprints and collaborating with field staff. Candidates should have at least 4 years as a Journeyman, a valid license or certification preferred, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician Certification or State license preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years experience as a Journeyman in commercial, industrial, or electrical construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical systems per NEC and local codes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams.
• Install conduit, cable trays, wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, switches.
• Lead apprentices and provide on-the-job training.
• Ensure safety and OSHA compliance.
• Collaborate with project teams to meet timelines.
• Report progress to foreman/project managers.
