Job summary

Randall Construction’s Electrical division seeks highly motivated Journeyman Electricians for projects in Orlando and Central Florida. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and test commercial electrical systems while upholding safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Read blueprints, install conduit and panels, and perform commissioning in a fast-paced construction environment. Ideal candidates have a Journeyman license (or equivalent), 5+ years of commercial electrical experience, NEC

Qualifications

• State Journeyman Electrician License (where required) or equivalent verifiable experience.
• Minimum of 5+ years of commercial electrical experience with demonstrated leadership and safety.
• Thorough knowledge of NEC and applicable local codes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints and diagrams.
• Proficient with tablets and construction management software for timekeeping and reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and teamwork.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings including drug screening (background check).
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification.
• CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Experience on healthcare, education, multifamily, hospitality, industrial, or large commercial projects.
• Experience operating aerial lifts and construction equipment.
• Mentoring apprentices and promoting a team-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems per NEC, local codes and project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, specifications, and documents.
• Install conduit systems including EMT, Rigid, PVC, MC Cable and raceways.
• Install and terminate electrical equipment including panels, switchgear, transformers, lighting, receptacles, and control devices.
• Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate daily work with Foremen, Superintendents, PMs and other trades.
• Mentor apprentices by demonstrating proper installation techniques and safe work practices.
• Utilize company technology to complete daily reports and communicate project updates.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites per OSHA standards.
