Job summary

Walmart Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Electrician, Facility Services, in Indio, CA to perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on facilities and equipment. You will diagnose electrical issues, read blueprints, and coordinate with contractors while following safety standards.

Must have a Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent and 2+ years in the electrical trade. This is a full-time, on-site role with on-call rotations and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in electrical trade required.
• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent in-state required.
• Completion of a 2-year vocational/technical program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and facilities.
• Diagnose issues using blueprints, manuals, and parts catalogs.
• Document maintenance activities and capital expense information.
• Manage work orders and coordinate with contractors in compliance with regulations.
• Respond to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotations.
• Operate vehicles and powered equipment safely.
• Collaborate with team to improve processes and safety.
