Job summary

Regional Transportation District (RTD) is seeking a technically adept technician to maintain and repair its revenue fare collection equipment, vending machines, and related electronics across their network. The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical work, the ability to read schematics, and the capacity to work at multiple RTD facilities and on vehicles as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certificate in electronics required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record for past 2 years.
• Ability to pass polygraph and background checks.
• Able to pass RTD Physical Ability Assessment (PAA).
• Knowledge of electronics, A/C/D/C circuits, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair RTD revenue vending and electronic machines.
• Read wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
• Safely operate tools and service RTD equipment at various sites.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in fare boxes and related machines.
• Protect and organize revenue materials per policy.
• Work flexible shifts and be prepared for overnight hours.
