Jobot is an established electrical contractor serving the Madison area. We are seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team on a variety of residential and commercial projects, including service work, remodels, new construction, upgrades, and EV charging installations.

Expect steady local work and the chance to take ownership of projects in a quality-focused shop. This role requires a Wisconsin Journeyman license (preferred/required), strong NEC knowledge, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Wisconsin Journeyman Electrician license preferred/required.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and NEC requirements.
• Experience with residential and/or commercial electrical work.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Professional communication and customer-service skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities in the field.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and commercial electrical installations, service, and repairs.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues.
• Install and upgrade electrical panels, services, circuits, outlets, and related equipment.
• Complete electrical work for remodels and new construction.
• Read plans, diagrams, and electrical specifications.
• Ensure all work meets applicable electrical codes and safety standards.
• Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and other trades.
• Work independently while also collaborating with other electricians and project teams.

Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team in the Madison, WI area. This position will work on a variety of electrical projects ranging from service calls and troubleshooting to remodels, new construction, service upgrades, and commercial installations.

Responsibilities
