Job summary

NEXT Electric, LLC is seeking a full-time Commercial Journeyman Electrician in Madison, Wisconsin. The role supports customer project specifications, plans layouts, and installs wiring and fixtures in compliance with local codes.

You will supervise and train other electrical workers, read construction drawings, and ensure safety with NEC standards. Wisconsin journeyman/master license and OSHA-10 are required or obtainable; CDL not required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of electrical experience.
• Knowledge of NEC and Electrical Theory.
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain.
• Experience reading construction drawings and blueprints.
• 70E awareness preferred, not required.
• CDL preferred, not required.
• Pass pre-employment background check, drug test, and MVR if operating vehicles.

Qualifications

• 6 or more years recent electrical experience
• Current Wisconsin journeyman or master electrician license
• Knowledge of NEC and Electrical Theory
• Experience reading construction drawings and blueprints
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain
• 70E NFP Certification or related awareness training preferred, not required
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred, not required
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, drug test, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
