Job summary

The City of Westminster seeks an Electrician II/III to install, inspect, maintain, repair and test electrical systems in City facilities. Licenses required are CO Journeyman Electrician for II or CO Master Electrician for III, or reciprocal states.

This safety-sensitive role requires overtime, weekend duty, and on-call readiness to respond to facility and emergency needs, with compensation reflecting license level and experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Possession of CO Journeyman Electrician license or reciprocal state for II.

Responsibilities

• Read electrical plans and interpretations for compliance with codes.
• Maintain and repair electrical systems in City facilities.
• Operate, test and maintain emergency generators and fire alarm/security systems.
• Provide on-call and overtime coverage for emergencies.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and City departments.
