Job summary

Exponential Power is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our Georgia field team. You will drive residential battery energy storage system installations on the exterior of homes across the Atlanta area, working with distributors and using standardized plans.

You will install, route, and troubleshoot electrical systems, measure conduit, and manage installations with minimal supervision while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent qualifications.
• 4+ years of residential electrical installation experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and installation practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own day with limited supervision.
• Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install PVC conduit.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and willing to take ownership of assigned work.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Install residential battery energy storage systems at homes throughout the greater Atlanta area.
• Perform electrical installations according to established plans, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Install and route PVC conduit from electrical equipment to battery systems.
• Measure, cut, and lay out conduit installations accurately.
• Lead installations independently while project leads and management provide support across multiple job sites.
• Complete daily expectations, approximately two installations or install prep per day, depending on project requirements.
• Troubleshoot electrical installation issues and ensure systems are installed correctly.
• Work from standardized, repeatable installation plans and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all applicable electrical codes, company standards, and safety procedures.
• Communicate with the team regarding project progress, materials, and any issues encountered in the field.
• Be willing to learn new equipment, processes, and technologies as the business expands.
