Job summary

Kelso Industries in Florida is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our nationwide team delivering HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, refrigeration, and electrical solutions. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, installing and maintaining electrical distribution systems, and ensuring compliance with the National Electric Code, with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

A Journeyman License and a high school diploma are required, along with a valid driver's license and US work

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Journeyman License is required.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
• US Citizen or valid work permit required.
• Felony-free record required.
• Drug-free before and during employment.
• Neat appearance and professional conduct required.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints; bend pipe; conduit installation; understanding of basic electrical wiring
• Install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical distribution systems and equipment
• Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams and installation manuals to complete projects
• Remain in compliance with National Electric Code
• Inspect and test components of electrical systems, transformers, transfer switches, and switch gears

Journeyman ELECTRICIAN

Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints; bend pipe; conduit installation; understanding of basic electrical wiring

• Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer's installation manuals to complete assigned projects
• Remain in compliance with current National Electric Code
• Inspect & test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches and switch gears

Qualifications:

• MUST be over the age of 18
• MUST have a Journeyman License
• MUST have a High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• MUST have Valid Driver’s License and Personal Transportation
• MUST be a US Citizen or possess a valid work permit
• MUST have a FELONY FREE record
• MUST be DRUG FREE before and during employment
• MUST have a NEAT APPEARANCE.
