Job summary

APG Electric is a full-service electrical contractor providing design, construction, and maintenance services in Clearwater, FL. We seek a Journeyman Electrician to read blueprints, bend pipe, install conduit, and install, maintain, and repair electrical distribution systems on commercial projects.

Responsibilities include following blueprints, working with manufacturer manuals, and ensuring National Electric Code compliance while delivering safe, reliable power to clients.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years old.
• Must hold Journeyman license.
• Must have a High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• Must have Valid Driver’s License and Personal Transportation.
• Must be a US Citizen or possess a valid work permit.
• Must have a FELONY FREE record and be DRUG FREE before and during employment.
• Must have a NEAT APPEARANCE.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints; bend pipe; conduit installation; understanding of basic electrical wiring.
• Install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment.
• Utilize blueprints and diagrams to complete assigned projects.
• Remain in compliance with current National Electric Code.
• Inspect & test components of electrical systems including transformers and switch gears.
