Job summary

BigFoot Staffing is seeking an Oregon-licensed Journeyman Electrician for multifamily new-construction projects in the Willamette Valley. This role offers steady work, competitive pay, strong benefits, and growth opportunities with a growing contractor.

Compensation is $45–$48 per hour, depending on experience. Applicants should have relevant experience and an active Oregon license to join a team delivering high-quality electrical installations.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial or multifamily new construction.
• Able to read construction drawings and electrical plans.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems and installation methods.
• Knowledge of applicable codes and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical distribution equipment, services and panels.
• Install conduit systems (underground and in-ground).
• Install lighting and lighting-control systems.
• Install wiring (NMB, MC, single-conductor, EMT, PVC, rigid conduit).
• Install low-voltage systems and related components.
• Troubleshoot and repair wiring, lighting, devices.
• Read blueprints, sketches, schematics, wiring diagrams.
• Operate hand tools, diagnostic equipment, testing instruments.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other trades.

Journeyman Electrician – Multifamily Construction

BigFoot Staffing is partnering with an established electrical and mechanical contractor to hire Oregon-licensed Journeyman Electricians for multifamily new-construction projects throughout the Willamette Valley.

Compensation: $45–$48 per hour, depending on experience

What You’ll Do

• Install electrical distribution equipment, services, and panels
• Install underground and in-ground conduit systems
• Install lighting and lighting-control systems
• Install wiring systems, including NMB, MC, single-conductor cable, EMT, PVC, and rigid conduit
• Install low-voltage systems
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, lighting, and devices
• Read and interpret complex blueprints, sketches, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Operate hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and testing instruments
• Install and repair electrical connections to HVAC components
• Follow applicable electrical codes, safety requirements, and project specifications
• Coordinate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and other trades

• Working knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, and applicable codes
• Ability to work safely and productively in an active construction environment
• Basic English proficiency sufficient to understand safety requirements, follow instructions, and communicate with coworkers, vendors, and contractors
