Job summary

Cobalt is building one of the Pacific Northwest’s premier electrical teams and seeks Oregon Licensed Journeyman Electricians who take pride in craftsmanship and want to be part of something bigger.

You’ll install, maintain, and troubleshoot on commercial and multifamily projects, read blueprints, and follow NEC. We offer competitive hourly wages of $50–$60, per diem, housing, and long-term opportunities with a growing company.

Qualifications

• Commercial electrical experience preferred.
• Apartment wiring experience desirable.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and job site safety.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems on commercial, multifamily, and industrial projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings.
• Install conduit, feeders, panels, lighting, and electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and perform repairs while maintaining production standards.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, local regulations, and company standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and trades to keep projects on schedule.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace per OSHA policies.
• Mentor apprentices and foster a positive team culture.

What You’ll Do

• Install conduit, feeders, branch circuits, panels, lighting, devices, and electrical equipment.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting and corrective repairs while maintaining high production standards.
• Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code, local regulations, and company quality standards.
• Work closely with project managers, foremen, apprentices, and other trades to keep projects on schedule.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following OSHA and company safety policies.
• Mentor apprentices and contribute to a positive team culture.

What We’re Looking For

• Commercial and multifamily electrical experience preferred.
• Apartment wireman experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and job site safety.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Compensation

Journeyman Electrician Starting at $50-60 per hour

Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and leadership responsibilities.
