Grounded Electrical, a San Antonio-based electrical contractor, is seeking a Licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our field team on a mix of commercial and residential projects. You’ll work independently and with our Master Electrician on service calls, rough-ins, and finish work, delivering quality, code-compliant results for a growing client base.

• Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician license required.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and Texas regulations.
• Experience with residential and commercial electrical systems.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems on commercial and residential sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
• Diagnose electrical issues and perform code-compliant repairs.
• Perform rough-in and finish electrical work on new construction and remodel projects.
• Ensure all work meets NEC and local/state codes.
• Communicate clearly with clients, site supervisors, and teammates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
• Document work performed, materials used, and time in the field management system.

The Role

We're hiring a Licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our field team on a mix of commercial and residential projects. You'll work both independently and alongside our Master Electrician, handling everything from service calls to new construction rough-ins and finish work. What You'll Do

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems across commercial and residential job sites
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications
• Diagnose electrical issues and implement code-compliant repairs
• Perform rough-in and finish electrical work on new construction and remodel projects
• Ensure all work meets local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements
• Communicate clearly with clients, site supervisors, and teammates

• Accurately document work performed, materials used, and time on job via our field management system

What You Bring

• Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician license (required)
• Strong working knowledge of NEC code and Texas electrical regulations

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and handle physically demanding conditions
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
