Enterprise Electrical in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Working Journeyman Electrician to join our team under licensed supervision, gaining hands-on experience and developing skills in EE and industry standards.

You will work on high voltage systems, install conduit per NEC, set up temporary power, grounding, and wire installation, with emphasis on safety, reliability, and teamwork. Growth within the company is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must have TX Journeyman license (TDLR) and be able to obtain/maintain credentials.
• Active TX ID or DL is required.
• Social Security Card is required.
• Must own tools and have reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow all safety regulations and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Work on and around high voltage energized equipment.
• Install various conduit systems per NEC.
• Set up and maintain temporary power systems.
• Install and maintain grounding for all equipment and structures.
• Terminate wires and cables to electrical equipment such as breakers and panels.
• Install junction boxes, panels, switches, plugs and fixtures.
• Communicate with Supervisor/Foreman and work as a team.
• Work well under pressure and handle tight timelines.
• Maintain a physical workload and use proper hand tools.

Job description

We are seeking Working Journeyman to join our team in San Antonio, TX. A Working Journeyman will work under the guidance of experienced electricians to learn and develop the necessary skills to become trained in EE and industry best practices and standards. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about the electrical trade and eager to gain hands‑on experience in a variety of settings and new opportunities.

Basic Qualifications:

• Active TX ID or DL
• Must have a valid TX Journeyman TDLR License

Qualifications/Role/Responsibilities:

• Work on and around high voltage energized equipment
• Install various types of Electrical Conduit systems according to NEC
• Setup and maintain temporary power systems
• Install and maintain grounding systems for all equipment and structures
• Test electrical components for continuity and proper voltage readings according to specificationsCut, bend, and run conduit as specified on blueprints
• Install junction boxes, panels, switches, plugs and fixtures
• Terminate wires and cables to electrical equipment, such as, but not limited to, breakers, control panels, and distribution systems
• Communicate and work under the direct Supervisor/Foreman (Licensed Journeyman and/or Master Electrician)
• Work well under pressure particularly when faced with unexpected events, delays, tight timelines, or urgent demands
• Ability to work well with others - team player
• Knowledgeable about building a service
• Must be reliable, accountable, and consistent in performing assigned tasks
• Must be willing and able to follow all instructed safety regulations
• Detail oriented, results driven individual
• Knowledgeable with all electrical equipment and hand tools
