Key Responsibilities
- Coaching, guiding and counseling other Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians
- Obtaining the required equipment, tools, and materials for projects
- Installing and repairing electrical systems
- Maintaining electrical systems by identifying and resolving potential issues
- Testing and troubleshooting electrical systems
- Reviewing and performing preventative maintenance measures and explaining these to clients and other electricians
- Responding promptly during emergencies
- Building relationships with clients and other Electricians
- Managing workload, tasks and on the job (OTJ) training of Apprentice Electricians
- Adhering to and modeling all safety protocols and electrical standards
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or similar
- A valid driver's license
- Experience with power tools and other equipment used in construction
- Outstanding communication skills, including written and verbal communication
- Knowledge of health and OSHA codes
Physical Requirements
- Ability to ascend/descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and/or operate scissor/boom lifts while working at height
- Ability to work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment
- Ability to lift and carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds regularly/occasionally
- Ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, push, pull, bend, stoop, crouch, and crawl
- Ability to successfully pass a 10-panel drug screen (as needed)
