Job summary

JBS USA is seeking a licensed Journeyman Electrician to maintain and service electrical equipment across the plant, including controls, MCC, power distribution, and lighting. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and installations in compliance with NEC and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • State of Michigan licensed journeyman electrician.
  • 2 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
  • Comprehension and application of the NEC.
  • Knowledge of motors, motor controls, and circuits.
  • Basic knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs and troubleshooting I/O.
  • Basic knowledge of VFDs.
  • Knowledge of lighting and emergency lighting systems.
  • Ability to work on a ladder or lift.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Ability to use electrical schematics in troubleshooting.
