Job summary

Comfort Wave Home Services is looking for an on-site Electrical Service Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems. You will maintain a clean job site, build rapport with customers, and ensure top quality service on every call.

Responsibilities include accurate diagnostics, NEC-compliant repairs, and clear documentation with before/after photos. A Journeyman license is required; ability to read blueprints and lift safely is expected.

Qualifications

• Journeyman License required.
• 2 years residential electrical wiring, repair and troubleshooting.
• Able to read blueprints, run conduits, wire and terminate devices.
• Work with NEC standards and maintain safety practices.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site and truck.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems accurately and efficiently.
• Perform repairs consistent with and exceeding National Electrical Code standards.
• Increase customer loyalty by maintaining a clean organized job site & truck.
• Establish customer rapport to offer the right solutions and service.
• Accurately estimate and invoice repairs and projects.
• Document work completed with before and after photos.
• Demonstrate safe working practices and methods.

Qualifications

Do I have What it Takes?

• Journeyman License required
• Applicants must be at least 21 years old to meet company driving‑insurability requirements; however, candidates who are 19 or older may be considered with a clean driving record.
• 2 years residential electrical wiring, repair and troubleshooting all aspects of the Electrical System
• Ability to read blueprints, run conduits, wire and terminate devices, perform quality control testing, and troubleshooting
• Working knowledge of installing electrical systems in a new and existing setting
• Detail oriented with good time management skills
• Bilingual spanish speaking is a plus!
• Can lift, carry, and maneuver a minimum of 75 pounds without additional manpower or appropriate device
• Must be able to work in the outside elements of heat and cold safely and on ladders and/or roofs medium to high heights
• Maintain well-groomed appearance; keep a clean uniform and work shoes
