Job summary

Comfort Wave Home Services is seeking an Electrical Service Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair home electrical systems. You will provide options and deliver 5-star service with every call, supporting a team that values excellence and integrity.

Responsibilities include accurate diagnostics, NEC-compliant repairs, clean job sites, customer rapport, and precise invoicing. Travel and physical demands apply; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Journeyman License required.
• 2+ years of residential electrical wiring, repair and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read blueprints and read/install conduits, terminate devices.
• Detail oriented with good time management skills.
• Spanish language skills considered a plus.

What Will I Do?

• Use your industry expertise to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems accurately and efficiently
• Perform repairs consistent with and exceeding National Electrical Code standards
• Increase customer loyalty by maintaining a clean organized job site & truck
• Establish customer rapport to offer the right solutions, provide the right service and create that “You're my go-to company” relationship
• Accurately estimate and invoice repairs and projects
• Document work completed with before and after photos
• Demonstrate safe working practices and methods

Do I have What it Takes?

• Journeyman License required
• Applicants must be at least 21 years old to meet company driving‑insurability requirements; however, candidates who are 19 or older may be considered with a clean driving record.
• 2 years residential electrical wiring, repair and troubleshooting all aspects of the Electrical System
• Ability to read blueprints, run conduits, wire and terminate devices, perform quality control testing, and troubleshooting
• Working knowledge of installing electrical systems in a new and existing setting
• Detail oriented with good time management skills
• Bilingual Spanish speaking is a plus
• Can lift, carry, and maneuver a minimum of 75 pounds without additional manpower or appropriate device
• Must be able to work in the outside elements of heat and cold safely and on ladders and/or roofs medium to high heights
• Maintain well-groomed appearance; keep a clean uniform and work shoes
