Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a valid journeyman electrician license, have a strong work ethic, and experience working on various electrical systems and projects. This role involves travel to job sites, effective communication with clients and team members, and a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components
2. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
3. Troubleshoot electrical problems and ensure code compliance
4. Lead or assist on commercial job sites
5. Adhere to company and OSHA safety policies and procedures
6. Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and coworkers
7. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

Qualifications

1. Valid Journeyman Electrician license in the State of Texas
2. 3+ years of electrical experience preferred
3. Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
4. Ability to work independently or as part of a team
5. Valid driver’s license; candidate will be vetted through the Texas background check for work on school property
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Compensation

$25 - $30 hourly
