Join to apply for the Journeyman Electrician role at Facility Solutions Group.

As a Journeyman Electrician, you will plan layouts, install and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment. The ideal candidate will mentor and develop Apprentice Electricians, promote the core values of FSG through excellent customer service, and ensure safety on all work sites.

Responsibilities include:

1. Preparing sketches or following diagrams and blueprints to install wiring and equipment, ensuring concealed wiring is installed before walls, ceilings, and flooring are completed.
2. Planning installations to minimize waste, provide access for maintenance, and ensure safety and compliance with codes.
3. Designing layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures based on specifications and local codes.
4. Installing control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, circuit-breaker panels, Buss, Busbar, electrical feeders, and switchgear.
5. Repairing faulty equipment or systems.
6. Working from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring and fixtures.
7. Advising management on potential hazards of equipment operation.
8. Maintaining attendance and complying with notification procedures for absences.
9. Maintaining current electrician's license or ID as per regulations.

Minimum qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid TDLR Journeyman License
• Three to five years of field experience
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Positive customer service skills
• Experience in lighting is a plus
