Summary/Objective

The Journeyman Electrician performs assembly operations to produce components or to assemble those components into an environmental test chamber.

Essential Functions

• Bend 1/2 - 1 1/4 Emt conduit
• Layout of chamber boxes and conduit runs from blank
• Layout of electrical blank or empty panels
• Layout and build switch boards and electrical panels per schematics
• Install panels on Environmental Test Chambers including wiring, installation of conduit, wiring up sensors and switches
• Use test equipment to validate electrical systems for conformity to manufacturing schematics and departmental quality requirements
• Technical diagnostics and troubleshooting of electrical components and systems
• Temporary installation of Environmental Test Chambers for performance testing (connect and disconnect)

Required Education And Experience

Preferred Education And Experience

• Previous experience as an Electrical Assembler in a similar industry
• Experience working with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)
• High School Diploma or GED
