Job Summary

1. Respond to electrical trouble calls throughout the Clinton and Devens facilities inspecting and repairing a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment, including lighting, power distribution, smoke and fire detectors, security alarm, and automation systems.
2. Install new complete electrical circuits from buss bar or other source to equipment or other point of operation, including cutting, bending, threading, installing conduit with PVC & EMT, and Flex Material.
3. Read and execute electrical drawings (pull and tag/land wire).
4. Mount electrical panels, switchgear, and motor control centers.
5. Perform basic electrical checks such as continuity, grounding faults, and OHM tests.
6. Prepare electric projects, layout materials and tools.
7. Follow electrical and low/high voltage instructions.
8. Obtain permits for electrical and fire safety installations as needed.
9. Follow safety guidelines including PPE, LO-TO, and job hazard analysis.
10. Collaborate with project management to create scope of work and coordinate contractors.
11. Maintain departmental logs and labor records.
12. Develop relationships with maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors.
13. Adhere to Jabil's core values and standards.
14. Hold a current Massachusetts electrical license.
15. Respond to emergency calls on a rotating schedule.
16. Perform other duties, including understanding HVAC operation and using BMS for troubleshooting.
