Job Description

Title: Journeyman Electrician

Location: Delaware Basin

Pay: $35 - $50/HR

Hierarchy Breakdown

Reports to: The Operations Superintendent located in the Field Office.

Works Directly Alongside: Various customer and support elements including Automation, Measurement, Engineering, Production, Operations, and other IT support staff.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day maintenance and development of Automation Systems for field locations including well sites, SWD's, Compressor Stations, and Tank Batteries.
• Troubleshoot communication issues on various SCADA systems.
• Maintain the PM schedule for assigned fields.
• Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 support as required.
• Perform electrical equipment installations, calibrations, inspections, and troubleshooting to minimize production impacts.
• Troubleshoot compressor panels at pipeline stations.
• Install wiring and conduit as needed.
• Lead electrical, grounding, end device, and commissioning activities including loop checks.
• Recognize malfunctions and perform necessary maintenance.
• Manage priorities proactively based on field needs.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Current Journeyman Electrician License.
• Experience with Rosemount, Transmitters, and Hart Devices.
• Experience in Service Maintenance of Instrumentation/Electrical at Compressor Stations.
• Experience with PLCs, including Modicon, Allen Bradley, GE MDS, Freewave, Cambium Radio systems, and Unity Pro software (preferred).
• Experience with Coriolis liquid meters and troubleshooting Serial and Ethernet radio systems.
• Knowledge of control circuits in PLC, switches, and overload relays.
• Within 75 miles of Mentone, TX.
• Willing to undergo background and driving record checks, pass DOT drug screening/physical.
• Minimum 5 years of automation and PLC programming experience in Oil and Gas.
• At least 3 years of industrial electrical experience.
• Associate Degree or Certification in Instrumentation Technology or Automation (preferred).
