Journeyman Electrician (Electrical - Start-Up)

We are seeking a qualified Journeyman Electrician to support electrical start-up projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in installation, commissioning, and quality assurance within construction and industrial environments.

Responsibilities:

1. Inspect materials and installations to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and standards such as NEC, UBC, NFPA, SMACNA, and others.
2. Coordinate with project management and trades to ensure quality and system functionality.
3. Assist in resolving construction issues and perform inspections and sign-offs.
4. Participate in SOPs and pre-task planning for safety and compliance.

Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of experience supporting construction and industrial projects.
2. Strong knowledge of local and national electrical codes, construction drawings, and standards.
3. Ability to read and interpret building prints and drawings.
4. Effective communication skills with engineers, trades, inspectors, and clients.
5. Proficiency with computers and scheduling tools.
6. Physical ability to work in confined spaces, ascend/descend ladders, and work near loud equipment.
