Job summary

Wheco Controls, an Azuria Water Solutions Company, is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to install MCCs, VFDs and control panels for water and wastewater facilities across the region. You will lead wiring, read blueprints, and troubleshoot electrical systems.

The role offers a competitive $32-$47/hour DOE, full benefits from day one, a company vehicle or mileage reimbursement, and opportunities to mentor field crews on active projects.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician License is required.
• 5+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
• Experience with MCCs, VFDs, and industrial control systems.
• Solid NEC knowledge and safe work practices.
• PLC familiarity a plus.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation of MCCs, VFDs, control panels, and power wiring.
• Measure, cut, bend, and install EMT conduit; work efficiently.
• Pull wire, make terminations, set panels, receptacles, lighting, and fixtures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and safety standards.
• Mentor and lead small field crews as needed.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
