Join to apply for the Journeyman Electrician role at Facility Solutions Group.

As a Journeyman Electrician, you will plan layouts, install and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment. The ideal candidate will mentor and develop Apprentice Electricians, promote the core values of FSG through excellent customer service, and ensure safety on all work sites.

1. Prepare sketches showing the location of wiring and equipment, or follow diagrams or blueprints, ensuring concealed wiring is installed before completing walls, ceilings, and flooring.
2. Plan new or modified installations to minimize waste, facilitate future maintenance, and ensure safety and compliance with codes.
3. Design layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures based on specifications and local codes.
4. Install control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, circuit-breaker panels, Buss, Busbar, electrical feeders, and switchgear.
5. Repair faulty equipment or systems.
6. Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures.
7. Advise management on potential hazards of equipment operation.
8. Meet attendance standards and follow notification procedures for lateness or absence.
9. Maintain current electrician's license or ID to meet regulations.
10. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, 3-5 years of experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills.
11. Experience in lighting is a plus.
