Job summary

Cranney Home Services is seeking motivated Journeyman Electricians for residential service work in Massachusetts. You will perform installations, service calls, and panel upgrades, with emphasis on safety and high-quality customer interactions.

Opportunities include Generac-related tasks and opportunity for certifications. We value reliability, independent work ethic, and the ability to follow checklists while delivering exceptional service to homeowners.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Journeyman License is required.
• Minimum ability to pass background checks and drug screen.
• OSHA 10 certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations and site visits for residential service calls.
• Upgrade panels and run new electrical feeds (low voltage focus).
• Maintain accurate stock lists and documentation.
• Engage with customers using active listening and clear communication.
• Meet or exceed weekly/monthly service goals.

Full time schedules: 2 shifts available:

• Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
• Tuesday-Saturday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm Higher-Paying Shift!
• $35-$45 hr. -DOE-Weekly Pay!

What must be accomplished:

• You must have the ability to engage with and actively listen to customers.
• Running new electrical feed (mainly low voltage).
• Panel upgrade (service upgrade).
• Generac experience/knowledge is a plus!
• Site-visits
• Accurate complete stock list.

How will success be measured:

• 100% completion of the electrical install check list.
• No call backs!
• Gain additional certifications and/or skills (ex, generated).
• Be driven to exceed weekly and monthly business goals.
• Work to continuously grow your technical skills.

Requirements

• Massachusetts Journeymen License (Required)
• Ability to pass criminal background check, driving record check, and drug screen.
• OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
• Old work experience (snake wires etc.).
• Generac certification is preferred.
• HVAC controls.
• Controls, relays, and zone bound.
• Ability to work independently to complete tasks.
