Job Summary
The journeyman electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.

Essential Functions

1. Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment.
2. Connect power supply wires to machines and equipment.
3. Connect cables and wire between machine and equipment.
4. Diagnose malfunctioning electrical apparatus.
5. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
6. Replace faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches, motors, and position sensing devices.
7. Diagnose, repair, or replace faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards.
8. Plan layout of wiring and install wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus to buildings.
9. Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment like oscilloscopes, ammeters, or test lamps.
10. Maintain knowledge of arithmetic, machines, and tools, including their design, uses, repair, and maintenance.
11. Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and policies while promoting the company's safety culture.
12. Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years of experience as an electrician.
• NCCER or Journeyman’s electrical license.
