IES Residential in Saint George, UT seeks an experienced Electric Technician with a current Journeyman Electrician license to perform electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work.

This role supports field operations and project completion by ensuring electrical systems and equipment are installed and maintained safely, accurately, and in compliance with applicable electrical codes and company standards.

Qualifications

• Current Journeyman Electrician license
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical documentation
• Proficiency with electrical tools and testing equipment
• Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety practices
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Review plans and blueprints to support project execution.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.
• Coordinate with vendors and field teams on project activities.
• Maintain records and documentation of work and project activities.
• Support project schedules and field operations.
• Assist training of less experienced technicians.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and teams.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
