Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Journeyman Electrician license valid in the state or jurisdiction where the work is performed.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, project plans, and electrical documentation.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, installation methods, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Proficiency with electrical tools, testing equipment, and related systems.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and applicable electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on electrical systems and equipment.
• Review project plans, specifications, blueprints, schematics, and work orders to support accurate project execution.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure all work complies with company policies, safety standards, and applicable electrical codes.
• Coordinate with employees, vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments regarding project activities and operational needs.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to electrical work and project activities.
• Support project schedules and assist with resolving operational concerns in the field.
• Monitor equipment, materials, and job-site conditions to promote operational efficiency and safety.
• Assist with training and supporting less experienced technicians as needed.
• Maintain professional and effective communication throughout all customer and operational interactions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
