Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have Journeyman Lineman qualifications or equivalent
• Completion of 700 level certification
• Valid Class A CDL and knowledge of electrical distribution systems

Responsibilities

• Install and remove electric meters, services and related equipment on customer premises
• Connect and disconnect services at the pole and locate/repair transmission issues
• Perform voltage, load, substation and related electrical tests
• Conduct routine inspections of relays, timers and substation equipment
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints for distribution systems
