Job summary

City of Kirkwood, Missouri is seeking a Journeyman Lineman to provide specialized technical services for the City's electrical distribution system. You will work on energized 5 kV, 15 kV, and 34.5 kV lines, both overhead and underground.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, post-secondary training in electricity/electronics and lineman courses, at least four years of related experience, a valid Class A CDL, and a Journeyman Lineman Card or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Post-secondary training in electricity/electronics and lineman's courses required.
• Minimum four years of progressively responsible related experience.
• 15 kV gloving experience preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Journeyman Lineman Card or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized technical services for construction, operation, and maintenance of the electrical distribution system.
• Work on energized 5 kV, 15 kV, and 34.5 kV overhead and underground lines.
