Job summary

Green Bay Packaging Inc. is seeking Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians to support electrical, instrumentation, and control applications across its paper mill operations in Green Bay, WI.

The role involves maintaining PLC, DCS, and drives, along with electrical power distribution and field devices. The ideal candidate will have a technical degree or journeyman certificate in industrial E&I, strong troubleshooting skills, and experience with PLC/DCS control logic.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or Journeyman certificate in industrial E&I field.
• Paper mill or industrial manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across sensors, controllers, instrumentation, and motors.
• Programming experience creating/modifying PLC and DCS logic.
• Ability to work in noisy, dusty, hot or cold manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support for instrumentation and electrical control in paper mill operations.
• Support PLCs, HMI, Drives, and control systems.
• Assist with 13.8 kV power distribution, substations, MCCs, and motors.
• Assist with capital projects and documentation updates (schematics, drawings).
• Support reliability programs and plant maintenance activities.
• Work 12-hour rotating shifts (4-on 4-off) as needed.
