Job summary

Watermark Risk Management International, LLC is seeking a Journeyman Data Manager to support assessment processes and collect data across the Mission Assurance enterprise. The role focuses on analytical exploitation of data to reveal trends and enterprise-level insights, with data quality checks and validation throughout.

You will assist with data workflows on government-directed platforms, including Palantir Foundry, and perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in any field.
• 3–10 years in any career field.
• Hands‑on experience with Palantir Foundry data pipelines and ontology management preferred.
• Background in data engineering, ETL processes, or database management preferred.
• Experience working in classified data environments preferred.

Job Title: Journeyman Data Manager

Job Overview

Experience Requirements

• 3–10 years in any career field, discipline, or industry
• Hands‑on experience with Palantir Foundry data pipelines and ontology management preferred
• Background in data engineering, ETL processes, or database management preferred
• Experience working in classified data environments preferred

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree ("B.A." or "B.S.") in any field

Certification Requirements

• Palantir Foundry Data Engineer Certification (required)

Security Clearance Requirements

• Active/current Top Secret (TS) clearance on Day 1 of performance
• Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI and TS/SCI with Caveats
• U.S. Citizenship required

Other Requirements

• Ability to work 100% on‑site within a Government SCIF during core duty hours
• CONUS travel may be required (coordinated with the Government at least 10 calendar days prior)
• OCONUS travel may be required (e.g., EUCOM/PACOM AOR support; coordinated at least 20 calendar days prior, with Theater Business Clearances)
• Local travel within the National Capital Region may be required
• Trip and After-Action Reports are required following each trip
• May be required to move equipment/files weighing up to 50 pounds
• May require sedentary work at least 50% of the time
• Reports to a physical location which occasionally requires the ability to traverse between buildings
• Ability to manage stress with a high degree of maturity/professionalism
• Demonstrated critical thinking and leadership skills and the ability to work well with others
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Position Notes

Position is Contingent on Contract Award.

Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated compensation range for this position is $100,000-$300,000. Multiple considerations are taken into account when determining the final salary, including but not limited to contract wage determination, education and certifications, relevant work experience, related skills and competencies, and federal government contract labor categories.
