Job summary

Watermark Risk Management International, LLC seeks a Sr. Data Scientist to enable analytics and data products for Mission Assurance programs. You will apply AI/ML techniques to extract insights from DoD data and develop dashboards and analytical models for senior leaders. The role requires deep data science experience and Palantir Foundry proficiency.

Work is on-site in the National Capital Region with travel as needed. Active Top Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in any field.
• 10+ years of experience in data science or related fields.
• Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry preferred.
• Experience translating analytics into decision-support products for senior DoD leaders preferred.

Sr. Data Scientist

In this role you will…

• Support analytical workflow enablement, sustainment, and scaling of data products across the Mission Assurance enterprise.
• Lead application of advanced analytical techniques, including artificial intelligence and machine learning methods, to extract insights from Mission Assurance data.
• Utilize enterprise data platform capabilities to support analytics, automation, and decision-making.
• Support configuration and use of Government-directed data platform capabilities to enable data analysis, monitoring, reporting, and automation.
• Develop dashboards, monitoring views, and analytical models supporting senior leader decision-making.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements

• Over 10 years in any career field, discipline, or industry.
• Deep hands‑on experience developing applications in Palantir Foundry preferred.
• Background in data science, machine learning, or computational modeling preferred.
• Experience translating complex analytical outputs into decision‑support products for senior DoD leaders preferred.

Education Requirements

• Master's Degree (M.A. or M.S.) in any field.

Certification Requirements

• Palantir Foundry Application Developer Certification (required).

Security Clearance Requirements

• Active/current Top Secret (TS) clearance on Day 1 of performance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI and TS/SCI with Caveats.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Other Requirements

• Ability to work 100% on-site within a Government SCIF during core duty hours.
• CONUS travel may be required (coordinated with the Government at least 10 calendar days prior).
• OCONUS travel may be required (e.g., EUCOM/PACOM AOR support; coordinated at least 20 calendar days prior, with Theater Business Clearances).
• Local travel within the National Capital Region may be required.
• Trip and After-Action Reports are required following each trip.

Position is Contingent on Contract Award.

The anticipated compensation range for this position is $100,000-300,000.

Multiple considerations are taken into account when determining the final salary/hour rate, including but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, education and certifications, relevant work experience, related skills and competencies, as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
