Job summary

Qualifications

• Physical stamina to work in demanding conditions.

• Experience with various concrete finishing tools, including power trowels and hand tools.
• Understanding of concrete curing processes and how weather conditions can affect it.

Responsibilities

• Setting up forms and ensuring they are aligned to the correct depth and pitch.
• Distributing freshly poured concrete evenly across the formwork.
• Using trowels and power trowels to smooth the surface and achieve a level finish.
• Cutting expansion joints with a power saw to control cracking.
• Inspecting the concrete for defects and ensuring it meets project specifications.
• Applying hardening and sealing agents to protect the surface.
• Maintaining safety by following on-site procedures and regulations.
