Job summary

The Brazos River Authority is seeking a Concrete Worker/Finisher to perform concrete work and assist welders and abrasive blasters as part of a team. You will contribute to construction, repairs, and maintenance on BRA dams by pouring and finishing concrete, operating saws and jackhammers, and installing reinforcing bars.

Responsibilities include heavy equipment operation, scaffold erection assistance, and other duties as assigned to support safe, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• One to three years of concrete experience.
• High School Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Pouring and finishing concrete as part of a team.
• Operating concrete saws and jackhammers to remove deteriorated concrete.
• Building and setting concrete forms; bending, cutting and installing reinforcing bars.
• Operating heavy equipment as required for the project.
• Assisting welders and abrasive blasters; assisting with scaffold erection and other duties.
