Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a skilled tradesperson to plan, lay out, and install forms, rebar, embeds, and anchor bolts for concrete structures in accordance with plans and specs. You will read prints, construct and erect forms, set bracing, pour and finish concrete, and work on industrial sites with strict safety standards.

The role requires the ability to work varied hours, pass drug testing, and operate hand and power tools in a dynamic construction environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with related field experience.
• Strong ability to read prints, drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency using hand and power tools and layout/measuring tools.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and communicate clearly.
• Must pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing.
• May require U.S. Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret prints, drawings, plans and specifications and visualize objects in three dimensions from plans and drawings.
• Construct, erect, install and repair structures, scaffolding and framework using hand and power tools.
• Measure, cut, assemble and install forms, rebar, embeds and anchor bolts; construct and erect forms per specifications.
• Erect built-in-place or prefabricated forms; insert spreaders and tie-rods to maintain dimensions; brace formwork.
• Pour concrete into finished forms and finish surfaces per plans and specifications.
