Job summary

Kiewit in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an experienced concrete forms carpenter to read prints, set up formwork, install rebar and anchor bolts, and pour concrete according to plans and specs.

You will work outdoors in varying weather, climb at heights, and use hand and power tools; overtime and weekend work may be required. Strong safety awareness and ability to follow instructions are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong knowledge and abilities for the position.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret prints, drawings, plans and specifications; visualize three-dimensional objects.
• Construct, erect, install and repair structures, scaffolding and framework using hand and power tools.
• Measure, cut, assemble and install forms, rebar, embeds and anchor bolts; construct forms per specifications.
• Erect built-in-place or prefabricated forms; insert spreaders and tie-rods to maintain dimensions; brace forms.
• Pour concrete into finished forms and finish surfaces according to plans and specifications.
