Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking skilled personnel to read plans, lay out and install forms, rebar, embeds and anchor bolts for concrete structures, in line with project specs. You will construct and erect forms, manage dimensions with spacers and braces, and pour and finish concrete surfaces per standards.

This role requires interpreting drawings, using hand/power tools safely, and coordinating with supervision to ensure quality and on-time delivery in outdoor environments, including

Qualifications

• May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Must possess strong working knowledge skills and abilities for position.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.
• Proficient in the safe and efficient use of electrical, hand tools, power tools and layout tools as well as measurement tools

Responsibilities

• Plan, lay-out and install forms, rebar, embeds and anchor bolts for installation of concrete structures in accordance with plans and standards.
• Read and interpret prints, drawings, plans and specifications and visualize objects in three dimensions from plans and drawings.
• Construct, erects, installs and repairs structures, scaffolding and framework using hand and power tools.
• Measure, cut, assemble and install forms, rebar, embeds and anchor bolts; construct and erect built-in-place or prefabricated forms.
• Erect built-in-place forms or assemble and install prefabricated forms; insert spreaders and tie-rods to maintain dimensions; brace forms.
• Pour concrete into finished forms and finish surfaces to specifications; install other items per plans.
• Inspect subordinate's work for compliance with contract plans and specifications, identify deficiencies and take corrective action.
