Job summary

Capstone Mechanical, LP. is seeking a Plumbing Installer II in Bartlett, TN to perform commercial and industrial plumbing installation work and operate with a high level of independence.

You will read drawings, plan tasks, and install piping systems according to plans, codes, and safety practices. The role requires 3–5 years of installation experience, a journeyman license or equivalent credentials, OSHA-10, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of related plumbing installation experience.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred or ability to complete safety training.
• Must hold journeyman plumbing licensure, union status, registrations, or credentials required by location.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and codes.

Responsibilities

• Independently install, assemble, repair, and maintain pipe, fittings, valves, fixtures, and related components.
• Plan and organize assigned work; determine required tools, equipment, and materials; verify readiness before starting installation.
• Measure, mark, cut, thread, groove, clean, join, and test piping materials using appropriate methods and equipment.
• Safely and proficiently use, inspect, and maintain hand tools, power tools, and specialty plumbing equipment.
• Read and interpret plumbing drawings, specifications, submittals, work orders, and installation details to complete work.
• Coordinate work with supervisors, customers, and other trades; provide progress updates regarding materials and site issues.
• Provide task guidance to apprentices or less-experienced employees when assigned.
