Job summary

PremiStar is seeking a journey-level Plumbing Installer II to perform commercial and industrial plumbing installation work per plans and specifications. The role requires independence, planning, and collaboration on multi-trade sites.

Responsibilities include installing piping systems and fixtures, reading drawings, and maintaining safety practices. This position emphasizes proficiency with tools, code compliance, and mentoring apprentices on site.

Qualifications

• Independently install, assemble, repair, and maintain plumbing components per plans.
• Plan and organize assigned work; verify readiness before starting installation.
• Measure, mark, cut, thread, join, and test piping materials using appropriate methods.
• Safely and proficiently use, inspect, and maintain hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret plumbing drawings, specifications, submittals, work orders, and installation details.

Responsibilities

• Install piping systems, hangers, supports, valves, fixtures, equipment connections, labels, and related components to required standards.
• Inspect completed work, identify issues, and perform corrections within authority.
• Coordinate work with supervisors, customers, and other trades; provide updates on progress and issues.
• Provide task guidance to apprentices or less-experienced employees when assigned.
