Qualifications

• 4 years journeyman-level welding experience.
• Weld Test, a Valid Driver's License, and a TWIC Card are required.
• Must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Weld or tack weld pieces with spot, electric, or gas welding methods.
• Unite pipes from torch to tanks of oxygen and fuel gas; manage valves.
• Preheat work pieces and prepare for welding or curving.
• Check work pieces for specifications using straightedge or templates.
• Assist with crane signaling and material handling for welding jobs.
• Operate cutting equipment to dismount or scrap metal as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE during welding.
